Apr 2016 um 22:25 Uhr This week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme is „April Showers“ and the timing couldn’t have been any better because a) well, it’s obviously April and b) it was raining EVERY DAY this week. So finding the right setting was pretty easy but […]

This week’s #BookishScene theme is #BlueOmbreSpines referring to Autism Awareness Month, so I picked some of my blue books 🙂 Ein von Sebastian (@buechermonster) gepostetes Foto am 14. This week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme is „New Beginnings“ and after doing some heavy thinking about how to turn this into a picture I decided to go back quite a few years and show you my very first book that I’ve read in a foreign language (English).

I’m a bit late with my picture for Bookish Scene: Project 52 this week but here it is! I don’t own a lot of books that would fit into the „humour“ category but „Grasshopper Jungle“ by Andrew Smith made me laugh A LOT. Definitely one of the weirdest books I’ve ever read! 😀

This week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme „Twists & Turns“ suits me quite well because as an avid reader of thrillers and crime fiction these are essential things that make this genre so exciting for me. There’s nothing wrong about a linear but well-plotted mystery but what provides the real thrill for me are twists […]

This week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme „Cover Love“ was by far the easiest so far and the only difficulty for me was how to get as many pretty books in one picture as possible 😀 Unfortunately there still wasn’t enough space to show all the great covers of books that I own but I […]

This week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme „Forced to Read“ first sounds a bit weird when you’re such a passionate reader like I am but of course there have been books in my life which I didn’t want to read myself but have been forced to read by others.
