I’ve been dreading this week’s Bookish Scene: Project 52 theme „Balance“ from the moment I first saw it because as a reader who mostly seeks thrill and suspense I had absolutely no idea how to deal with such a „calm“ topic like this.

After doing some heavy thinking the first thing that came to my mind was trying to recreate the yin and yang symbol with white and black books but I soon had to realize that I was much too lazy to take all the fitting books from my shelves, arrange them for a picture and put them back afterwards…

So I decided to let someone else do the physical exercise and confronted little #FunkoPop Harry (who so far spent all his life hanging out lazily between my books) with a little slacklining challenge – which ended up being a bit exhausting for me as well because it took me quite some time to get stubborn Harry stand on the „rope“ without falling down. But fortunately he eventually decided to play along so that you now get to see my „Balance“ picture ;D
BookishScene: Project 52 is a bookish Instagram challenge hosted by Joséphine (@wordrevel) and Georgie (@whatgeorgiedid), Further information can be found on both their blogs where you can also see a preview of the upcoming themes.

  • Look at cute little Harry! But I think he cheated and used a little magic to balance like that. ;P (Well, he probably wouldn’t know how, but maybe Hermione helped. xD)

I still hope to see the bookish yin and yang symbol picture some day, but it sounds like a lot of work. xD

    • NO MAGIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE OF HOGWARTS! 😛

Harry was just born to be a slackliner XD

Yeah, when you visit we can try to do the yin and yang picture if you take care of putting all the books back onto the shelves 😛
