Strictly speaking this post is coming two days too early but my inner Monk preferred clinging to Friday as the Bookish Scene Day so here’s already my pic for this week’s theme „Easter“ 😀
I couldn’t think of a single book I own which is even remotely connected to Easter (too bad I don’t own a bible, haha) but fortunately I didn’t really have to because looking at the cover of Jonathan Franzen’s novel „Freiheit“ („Freedom“) this book seemed quite an obvious choice and thanks to my grandparents‘ early Easter gift I also already had some chocolate eggs and even a little chocolate hatchling that were just too happy to pose for my picture – I guess they were just enjoying the attention as long as they’re still alive muahaha 😛
BookishScene: Project 52 is a bookish Instagram challenge hosted by Joséphine (@wordrevel) and Georgie (@whatgeorgiedid), Further information can be found on both their blogs where you can also see a preview of the upcoming themes.
I’m a little jealous you still get Easter candy, haha. I stopped getting (hippie) chocolate from my parents…I mean the Easter Bunny…years ago. 😛 Do you guys have the candy Peeps there?
I had to look up what candy Peeps are and I have never seen them before, lol 😀
I have to say that the Easter candy seems to be getting less with every year but as long as I still get the usual voucher for books I won’t complain xD
