September was even busier than August, but we had a lot more fun. Maraia’s parents came to visit for two weeks, so we spent a lot of time showing them around our area, with a 5-day trip to Edinburgh in the middle. We want to write a post about our adventures, so we’ll only show […]

August was a stressful month for both of us, so we can’t be too sorry it’s over. We didn’t have as much time for reading, TV shows, or movies as we did in July, but there were still some highlights for us. One of them was making room for books on what used to be […]

Our month started off with a short but sweet visit from Celine. Despite two trains being canceled on her, she did eventually make it, and we spent a relaxing day and a half binging Criminal Minds, taking walks in between all the rain, and starting an extremely challenging 2000-piece puzzle. (A puzzle that still […]

June was a great month. We took advantage of the summer weather by reading on the balcony, taking walks in the park, eating lots of ice cream and even went on a little vacation. We did end up increasing our (well, Sebastian’s) TBR, but at least we kept up with blog posts!

May was an even better reading month for us than April, in terms of both quantity and quality. We only acquired eight new books between the two of us, three of which were gifts, so our TBR pile decreased once again. We also started writing Top Ten Tuesday posts again, which are always fun. Despite […]

April was a very successful reading month since I not only managed to finish ten books but also only got three new ones which means that I reduced my TBR pile by seven books – wooohooo! I’m really proud of resisting to buy any books at all in April – besides my two monthly audiobook […]

When I look at the number of books I’ve read last month I can’t help feeling like I’ve failed a little bit when it comes to reading and listening to audiobooks but looking at page numbers and minutes March wasn’t actually that bad. Four out of the six books I’ve finished were quite massive and […]

This month’s roundup is going to be super long – but that’s not because I read so many books last month, it’s because I was too lazy to write a January roundup so that this one covers both January and February. That’s good for me because the first month in 2017 was actually quite embarrassing […]

November wasn’t quite as awesome as October but I finally managed to get some reading done again and read almost as many books in the past 30 days than in the three previous months combined. I’m still a bit behind on my Goodreads challenge and really trying to reach my 2016 goal without having to cheat, so […]

October is always my favorite month because I was born in October, the biggest German book fair takes place in October and I just love autumn in general. But this year October has been even more amazing than usual because Maraia came to visit me for almost the whole month and I even got to […]
